Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox is a Scottish native singer. She was born on 25 December 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox took classes in piano, flute as well as harpsichord at Royal Academy of Music London for three years during the 70s. Lennox lived on the student allowance, and relied in part-time jobs to increase her budget. In the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied with her skill in comparison to her fellow students and was contemplating a different route she could take. Lennox performed flute in the band Dragons Playground. But she quit shortly before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent competition. The main part of her role was the lead singer in The Tourists from 1977 until 1980. It was during this time that she met Dave Stewart with whom she will form Pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox started work for Diva in 1992. This was her debut album as a solo artist. The album received a lot of praise, both from critics and the public. Nostalgia Lennox's 6th solo album was released in November 2014. The C.D. includes a collection of Lennoxs most loved blues and soul jazz songs from her childhood. Lepidoptera was released by Lennox on May 19, 2019. The collection comprised of four songs that were improvised. The E.P. Her first album"Now I'm Letting You go... was released as an accompaniment to her installation of work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on 25 December.
